2016 Committee Election Results

The voting results are in and certified by USOA Executive Vice President Ray Tucker. Congratulations to new members Diana Madden, Karen Thullner and Bob Burres and returning member Gustavo Pesce. They will serve a two year term on our hockey committee starting September 9, 2016. Thank you to outgoing members Nicole, Kristen and Kat for your service. Also thanks to Jenny and Monica for running, I know from personal experience it isn't fun to be not selected, even for this little committee. And finally, thank you to everyone who took the time to consider our candidates and vote.

I saw a lot of reports of inconsistent delivery of ballots by email. It worked for many people but an unknown number of people couldn't find the initial message sent July 1 and others couldn't find the reminder sent July 25. To the best of my knowledge everyone who did contact me for help was able to get a ballot and vote. I contacted electionbuddy regarding non-delivery on July 13 and they basically said we need to get everyone to add elections@electionbuddy.com to their contact list. I wasn't impressed by this response and suggest we try opavote next year as they seem to take message delivery more seriously.
