2017 Age Group Worlds, from Agnes, 9

I am not sure I can make it through this report. It is SOOOO stressful. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone - I can do that tomorrow. Jeeze, writing those few words has gotten my heart rate up again. Just thinking of todays games is an adrenaline rush…

The first game played was the U19 men against Canada for 8th and 9th place. The winner to go up into the playoffs. That game can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK9AKItMFic

The second game was the U23 men against, again, Canada. It was for 9th and 10th place and the final game for both teams. You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q5ZpwVe2gM

The third game was the most stressful of all of them for me - U19 ladies against Colombia for 4th and 5th place. The winner to go on for a chance at a medal. A truly heroic game on both teams’ part. What an amazing game. You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V64ZrKXiGy8

That is all I have energy to report. Everyone here from the USA is completely hoarse from yelling and cheering. You should be too if you watch the videos.

Love to you all.

Our game with Argentina is not until 5:10 pm so we take the boys on an optional cruise around the Bay of Hobart. It's bitter cold and we're the only people on the boat.

Our 10:40 am game is with the Brits. They beat New Zealand 5 - 2. I consider this an upset and know that our boys will have their hands full.
